Automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane keep assistance and traffic sign recognition are standard across the D-Max range, while double cab models offer blindspot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. The view is good because of the front door, which looks good inside, the bigger door windows and the relatively thin columns.  
  
It led to the increase of 13 PS (13 hp; 10 kW) and 70 N⋅m (7.1 kg⋅m; 52 lb⋅ft) within the old 4JJ1-TCX. Whilst the 1.9-litre RZ4E-TC engine remains unchanged, the 3.0-litre engine, now named 4JJ3-TCX, has received several updates, including a reshaped combustion chamber, higher-pressure injectors, a diamond-like carbon coating on the piston pins, an electronic variable geometry turbocharger and a double-scissor timing gear. The 1.9-litre and 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel engines were carried over from the prior generation.  
  
The 2022 Isuzu D-Max D'Max is equipped with high-tension steel, electronic stability control ESC, traction control (TCS), brakes, emergency brake assist, a range of airbags and an electronic brake force distributor EBD. The Isuzu D'Max EBD detects the payload weight and modulates a corner brake force to compensate.  
  
Space Extra Cab has laterally opening door to give easier access to the trunk seat. The Isuzu D-Max is a pickup truck manufactured since 2002 by Isuzu Motors. Fortunately, that not an excessive amount of a challenge because you obtain Apple CarPlay/Android Auto to help you bypass it completely. Inside, the visibility is good because of a decent forward view, sizeable door mirrors and relatively slim side pillars. Rear parking sensors are standard from DL20 models, as the DL40 gets them at both ends, and also a reversing camera. It responds swiftly enough to your commands, but the graphics aren't particularly attractive.  
  
Unlike plenty of pick-ups, the Isuzu D-Max has some soft-touch plastics on the surface of the dashboard, and there are painted trim highlights on higher-end versions around the gear lever, infotainment screen and door cards to visually lift things. All the buttons and toggles employ a robust feel and will most likely continue to do this long following the warranty has expired.
